Our Youth Empowerment Approach
We work with young people in some of the world’s poorest countries to support them so they can achieve their full potential. Through our network of youth clubs in Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, today’s youth are being given the skills and knowledge to improve their access to sexual and reproductive health and rights information, services, and supplies.

Words of Change
We can tell you a lot about the young people we work with in east Africa. However, we think it’s better if they tell their own story, in their own words. We asked several people from DSW’s youth clubs in Githurai and Korogocho, Kenya, about how they viewed family planning, contraceptive use, FGM, as well as gender equality.
