Since the year 2000, DSW has been working with Kenyans enabling them to work towards a healthy future for all. We have done this by supporting a conversation about sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and what this means for Kenya’s efforts of improving health outcomes. We operate from Nairobi with a liaison office in Mombasa and programme interventions in Eastern, Coast, Nyanza, and Western Regions.

Advocacy Initiatives!

Our plan has been to work with citizens, faith groups, development partners as well as government, at both National and County levels, to get enough resources allocated to the health sector to enable quality health service provision.

KE youthEmpowering the youth across Kenya

Considering that the youth form the majority of Kenya’s population, we have made youth the center of our work

We have worked with the youth to ensure that they have access to sufficient and accurate information about their sexuality. While doing that, we have also helped them organize into ‘clubs’ and provided them with training, information, education and communication materials which have kept them well informed. Most importantly we have supported them to reach out to their communities, transmitting this acquired knowledge to those around them.

Equally important, we have been working with these youth to enable them identify and develop work opportunities.
