DSW celebrates World TB Day European Parliament

On the occasion of World Tuberculosis (TB) on 24 March 2015, join Theresa Griffin MEP and DSW at an evening cocktail reception to mark the closing of the “Let’s Save Lives” campaign – a five-month campaign calling for the EU to increase political support for global health research and development targeted at diseases such as TB, malaria and HIV & AIDS.

The cocktail reception will act as the launch of a week of activities at the European Parliament focusing on TB, but also the broader and interconnected issues around poverty-related and neglected diseases such as HIV & AIDS and malaria. This will include an information point and photo corner set up to give you a final chance to join in the campaign – by signing the Let’s Save Lives pledge and having their picture taken.

If you are a dedicated reader of the blog, you will be well-aware of the work we are doing with our partners and the European Parliament for the “Let’s Save Lives” campaign! If not, get yourself over to the campaign website, sign the pledge and join in the effort. It couldn’t be simpler. If you are in Brussels on 24 March, be sure to come along to the event in the European Parliament.

Save the Date!

Further details will follow soon – you can register for the event here. If you have any questions, please contact Eoghan Walsh, DSW Communications Officer (eoghan.walsh@dsw.org).
