Male champions under the DSW’s 
Men Engage Project, have affirmed the benefits of using family planning.
“It is easy to look after a smaller family than a bigger especially with their scarce resources”.
The men also noted that their women were stealthily using contraceptives, but champions now support their women to access modern contraceptives for smaller and manageable families. this has in the long run reduced Sexual Gender Based Violence cases that had resulted from big families.
Joyce notes that; in one of our catchment areas (Kamuli), men escort their wives to health centres to receive family planning methods preferred and even remind them at always go for checkups.
